Johnny Depp Did Not Deserve It (Memes)

After the (British) Sun magazine has called Johnny Depp a “wife-beater” it was done, and the contract was off the table. The conflict was between Actor and his ex-wife Amber Heard with accusations regarding domestic violence.After the years of court processes, controversy Johnny Depp has been fired from the Warner Bros Fantastic Beasts franchise.

Series of stories, which takes place in the Harry Potter Wizarding World itself. The first two movies have been released as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) where Johnny Depp appeared basically only at the end of the movie and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) where he was getting more into the main focus of the picture. The next chapter of this series had some delays and was scheduled for 2021 release with Johny Depp in the lead role as Grindewald. The third part of this series was supposed to be more focused on Depp´s character and his relationship with Albus Dumbledore himself.

Actor himself posted an official statement on his Instagram yesterday and you can read it below. The actor talks about his gratitude towards fans, the support he gets, and about his contract with Warner Bros. He ends the statement with his opinion and hopes for future:

J. K. Rowling talked about this matter in the past with the following: “Based on our understanding of the circumstances, the filmmakers and I are not only comfortable sticking with our original casting but genuinely happy to have Johnny playing a major character in the movies.” I guess you never know. This week verdict was probably way too much controversy for Warner Bros. as it is not the first time world talking about them negatively this week:
